    The Swedish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce in Scandinavia (SUCC) and the Stockholm Institute of Transition Economics (SITE), with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in Sweden, are pleased to invite you to a roundtable, “Clearing the Path to Recovery: The Economics of Humanitarian Demining and Ukraine’s Reconstruction.”

    The discussion will highlight humanitarian demining as a prerequisite for Ukraine’s recovery and introduce the Global Alliance for Peace and Development (GAPD), a Ukrainian non-profit initiative advancing demining, psychological support and reintegration, environmental restoration, and international partnerships.

    The roundtable will cover:

    • Current demining efforts and international best practices
    • An introduction to GAPD’s mission and operational approach
    • The economic, social, and environmental implications of demining
    • Opportunities for cross-sectoral collaboration and international business engagement
